I was just listening to the french radio. a lot of complaints about the current wave of strikes that is hitting France at the moment. one listener called the radio, because he found one positive point amidst all the irritations over not being able to travel from A tot B etc. at least we don t hear Sarkozy these days, that is really a relief. a child is easily made happy!

shocking experience. for the time being without a real working place, I decided to cycle every day to the university library and work at one of the public computers. if available. not that bad, because the library is quite beautiful and most of the time people are working hard and silently. very inspiring for somebody like me who lacks a little bit of discipline from time to time. but two minutes ago. what happened. a, I think, twenty years old guy came to me and said, pointing to the chair next to me, 'Sir, can i take that one?' Okay, I know, I am 28 since a few days, but still, a student saying 'sir' to me. I m really shocked. I got to do something to change my appearance. anybody some tips?
